When we were looking for Kitchener-Waterloo houses in 2011 and 2012, one 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house repeatedly popped up: 159 York St.
It's for sale again. Looks like the basement has been turned into a rental suite.
2011 asking price: $209,000.
2012 asking price: $269,000.
2016 asking price: $339,000.
"Great for first time home buyers", says the ad. What a farce.
